I LOVE Free!!

I got all of this for FREE!

With this transaction Fry's actually owed me $1.24, but they don't give cash back.  The cashier was so mad at me with all of my coupon mess, that she wouldn't even let me add another pack of gum to get for free...

My aunt calls me "The Crazy Coupon Lady".  I don't care.  Yes.   I love coupons.  So what?

Our First Garden

We were so excited when we looked at buying this house that it actually had a spot for a nice little garden.  We planted our seeds a couple of weeks ago and within the last couple of days they are all starting to sprout.

We planted tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, jalapeƱos, cilantro, bell peppers, pumpkins, and watermelons.  Probably a little much... but we'll see how it does.

Leah's New Look

Leah's teacher told me before Christmas that Leah was complaining that she couldn't read the board at school.  Well, I totally forgot until I went into the classroom to volunteer and her desk was up against the wall right in front of the board.  That's where they had to put her desk so she could see!

We finally went in to get her an eye exam and sure enough...she's pretty blind.  Here's the glasses she picked out.

So cute!

This is my sister's puppy that we watched while they went out of town for spring break.

Leah kept saying "Their dog really likes me, he keeps hugging my leg."

I didn't tell her what the dog was really doing...

Dog watching was one of the best things for my kids though...

They don't want a dog of their own anymore.

They said it was too much work.

Good enough for me!

Finished Backyard

We finally finished our backyard!  Jason fixed all of the dripper lines, planted plants, and shoveled 14 TONS of rock!  It only took him six hours on a VERY rainy day, but that didn't stop him!

His white arms are almost blinding... BEWARE!

We've been planning to do a trampoline hole like our last house this whole time, but once it came down to it, we decided not to.  The estimates that we received to have all of the dirt hauled away were WAY more than we wanted to pay, and with the grass and curbing already done it would have been hard not to mess it up.  We decided to save our money and ended up buying new golf cart batteries instead.  (Much needed and used just as much.)

I now REALLY enjoy doing yard work!
